Understanding Standard Keys & Restricted Keys

In our service, we provide two types of API keys for different purposes: Standard Keys and Restricted Keys.

Standard Keys: These keys offer full access to all API functionalities. They are ideal for situations where broad access is necessary.

Restricted Keys: These keys are designed with enhanced security in mind. They can be configured to work only with specific APIs, limiting their use to certain actions. This is especially useful when you want to minimize potential security risks by controlling access on a more granular level.

For example, if you only need access to certain features like viewing transactions or processing payments, you can generate a Restricted Key that ensures no other functionality can be accessed by mistake or through unauthorized use. This adds an extra layer of protection to your account and sensitive data.

By using these two types of keys, you can strike the right balance between flexibility and security.

You can find more instructions on creating API Key in our interface user manual.
